New laws wll be proposed in Nevada to make illegal life more difficult
Holy cow! In just six months Nevada’s Legislature will convene again, and, as Mark Twain once said, no one will be safe.

Incline’s Assemblyman Ty Cobb, R-Reno, and his fellow assemblyman, Bob Beers, R-Henderson, frustrated with the federal government’s inaction on illegal immigration, are teaming up to offer a couple of proposed Nevada laws that would make it more difficult for undocumented aliens to live and work in Nevada. Cobb’s proposal would prohibit unlawful residents from voting, getting driver licenses and most kinds of state assistance (including Millennium scholarships); Beers’ bill would punish employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

Cobb and Beers, together with Incline’s other assemblyman, James Settelmeyer, R-Gardnerville, were recently rated among Nevada’s most conservative lawmakers by the Libertarian “Citizen Outreach,â€
