Trial date set in lewdness case

The following people appeared in Carson City District Court before Judge Bill Maddox on Tuesday:

• Stephen Garrett Dixon, 20, pleaded not guilty to lewdness with a child under 14. A jury trial has been set for June 20.

• Mario Perez-Ramirez, 32, was sentenced to probation for 18 months and a suspended prison sentence of 20 to 30 months on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

• Hugo Diaz-Ramirez, 24, was given probation for three years and a suspended prison sentence of 12 to 30 months on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He must also cooperate with immigration officials.

• Tony Allen Jacobsen, 34, will be tried on March 26 on a charge of trafficking.

What the hell???? Probation? Suspended prison sentence? WHAT ABOUT DEPORTATION??? I'm oh so sure he will "cooperate with immigration officials."
