Immigration hard-liner to talk at UNC

CHAPEL HILL -- Former Congressman Tom Tancredo will come to UNC-Chapel Hill on Tuesday to speak about illegal immigration.
Tancredo, an unsuccessful Republican candidate for president in 2008, is well known for his hard-line views on immigration.
He said during his presidential campaign that he supports strictly enforcing current immigration laws and deporting all illegal immigrants. He also said he supports building a fence along the Mexican border and has said lax border security creates a terrorist threat and endangers American jobs.
The student group Youth for Western Civilization invited Tancredo to speak at UNC-CH. Riley Matheson, speaking for the group, said Tancredo will speak about "illegal immigration and the disastrous effects it has on American society."
Matheson said he hopes Tancredo will also address whether public colleges should admit illegal immigrants, something the student group opposes.
Tancredo will speak at 6:30 p.m. in Bingham Hall, Room 103.

Congressman Tancredo will also be speaking out against illegal immigration at the Winthrop College auditorium on Monday at 7:00 pm. There should be quite a few people there. Every politician in South Carolina has been invited to include Governor Sanford and both of our US senators.

We need to get our supporters out there I remember that the Radical and Latino forces tried drowning Tancredo out at an event of his I went to.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

My daughter is a proud American who attends UNC. She and many of her friends are definitely against amnesty-they know the threat illegal aliens pose to them when they begin to seek jobs. Hopefully she and many others can attend this event to support Congressman Tancredo.

The children in college need to realize there are no jobs. And the school systems and government want them to stay in college for another 10 years after High School.
Why? To reduce the unemployment rate of course.

And I have been told that NC State students wanted to be allowed to practice their 2nd Amendment Rights to carry firearms.
Way to rally North Carolina STUDENTS! (This could be dangerous both ways for students are under 21 usually. Tempers are my worry, here. Yet, killers need to know students can fight them.)Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
