Obama to evade rules for wealthy immigrants
‘Parole’ program tests limits of executive immigration powers
By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times - Friday, August 26, 2016
President Obama plans to use parole authority to go around normal rules and try to admit thousands of entrepreneurs to the U.S., the administration announced Friday, once again testing the limits of executive power on immigration.
Parole is usually used in specific humanitarian cases, such as temporarily admitting someone in dire need of medical treatment, but Mr. Obama argues it can also be used more broadly to try to boost the U.S. economy by letting wealthy entrepreneurs buy their way in.
Under his proposal, announced by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, would-be immigrants would have to show they own at least 15 percent of a startup business in the U.S., and that they have previously invested at least $1 million in other companies.
Parole entitles the entrepreneur to live and work in the U.S. for at least five years, and it is renewable as long as the government believes the business is successful.
“Once this rule is finalized, it will provide much-needed clarity for entrepreneurs who have been validated by experienced American funders, and who demonstrate substantial potential for rapid growth and job creation,” said Tom Kalil and Doug Rand, two White House officials, in a web post describing the new program.
They said immigrant entrepreneurs have been central to the American economy, and said they hope this program is part of that tradition.
USCIS, which will administer the program along with other agencies in the Homeland Security Department, estimated nearly 3,000 entrepreneurs, and more than 3,000 spouses and children, will qualify each year.
The key legal question is whether the parole authority Congress has granted the president is broad enough to cover this type of program.
Parole is supposed to be used on a case-by-case basis and to apply in cases of humanitarian need or where the individual is deemed to be a significant public benefit.
But the administration couldn’t point to any case where parole had been used to gain entry to the mainland U.S. strictly on future economic prospects. The closest parallel was a 2009 grant of parole to Russians and Chinese to work in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

LOL!! Oh yes, this is Obama payback to the Khan's who help wealthy Muslims migrate to the US as part of their I'm sure lucrative immigration services law firm.
So transparent, Obama.
For your information, we do not want foreign ownership of US businesses. Are you kidding me? What is wrong with you? Oh my God, get these STUPID DEMOCRATS out of our government. Send them all packing in November. Every last one of them.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

08-28-2016, 01:13 PM #3What the media isn’t telling you about President Obama’s disastrous immigration policy
By Madison Gesiotto - - Wednesday, August 24, 2016
President Obama has long been soft on crime and illegal immigration, but when is enough simply going to be enough?
Mr. Obama’s failure to protect the legal immigration process and crackdown on criminal aliens has resulted in hundreds of preventable assaults, rapes, robberies and murders.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, the Obama administration released over 124 illegal immigrants between 2010 and 2015 that went on to be arrested and charged with murder here in the United States.
Two of these criminal aliens were previously convicted of homicide-related crimes and were released before being charged again with homicides.
The other 122 criminal aliens had together racked up over 450 criminal charges before being arrested and charged with a homicide.
These numbers are horrifying.
But, instead of supporting and protecting the American people, the Obama administration released over 5,000 illegal immigrants in 2013 alone, including many criminals and several illegal immigrants with links to terrorist activities.
Dave Ray, spokesman for the Federation of American Immigration Reform, characterized this ridiculousness perfectly by saying, “Unfortunately, some American families paid the ultimate price – the loss of a loved one – for this political theater.”
The reality is that there is much more that can and should be done to protect the American people from criminal aliens.
Yet, the question remains, how do we sort the ‘good’ from the ‘bad’?
Well, deporting the 1.9 million removable criminal aliens could be a good start.
But, you haven’t heard that statistic in the media lately, have you?
Did you even know that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement estimates that we have approximately 2.1 million criminal aliens living in our country, only 200,000 of whom have green cards?
The mass media and the Obama administration won’t talk about these statistics because they do not fit with their liberal rhetoric that support the weak policies of President Obama.
Nobody wants to tear families apart, but a criminal is a criminal no matter what their immigration status and we simply cannot sit by and let criminal aliens do more harm to our country.
Not only have these 1.9 million criminal aliens hurt and killed American citizens, but they have also imposed enormous costs on families and communities nationwide.
Many of these criminal aliens were deported multiple times before coming back to murder American citizens and tear American families apart.
Enough is enough.
It’s time to crack down on criminal aliens and bring justice to the families of their victims and to our country by refusing to allow our leaders to be soft on illegal immigration and criminal aliens.

Anyone that reads crime reports already knew that fact.
How many million does it take to justify his statement? Think 2 million is plenty, actually HUGE.
20% of our federal jails are housing illegal criminals ON THE TAXPAYERS - very high %. DISGRACEFUL! That % is for federal facilities, we also have local jails housing too.
They need to get rid of these people now - enough of this con game played on American citizens by the open border politicians.Last edited by artist; 08-28-2016 at 01:48 PM.

Therefore, this "good vs bad" scam is just that, a SCAM.
Anyone who believes for a second that Donald Trump is going to track and deport quickly visa overstays as he has said repeatedly, but isn't going to deport illegal aliens who rode in here on the backs of drug cartels just isn't thinking straight.
Illegal aliens who came here illegally are dangerous people, regardless of whether they've been arrested and charge with their crimes.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
