DHS is working hard to protect their new imported illegal alien population, employing intimidation and other tactics upon their own employees to prevent them from doing their job, protecting the United States of America. Just as “Maximum Security” prisons were not created for the benefit of the inmates, Homeland Security is increasingly less about protecting Americans and more a means through which to control and manipulate the population of our country.
Sheriff Paul Babeu and Stuart Varney discuss the lawsuit filed by Patricia Vroom, a career U.S. ICE attorney who was prevented from prosecuting drunk driving, identity theft and other crimes against illegal aliens because of political considerations. Clearly DHS Chief Jeh Johnson is facilitating lawbreaking and obstructing justice.
He also describes a practice that, when it becomes inevitable that the illegals will be prosecuted for their crimes by local authorities, ICE then deports them to safety. The release of criminals into the population with their identities sealed from law enforcement by the Obama regime is also covered. It is a practice which may benefit both the illegals as well as the Obama officials, as the repeat offenders are not known as such on subsequent criminal arrests.
Babeu says, “I don’t know how we don’t hold the ‘president,’ Obama and this administration responsible for all these crimes, these deaths and these victims, because how are they not responsible, because they knowingly released these offenders and these convicted criminals who are dangerous back into our communities. And we’re the ones who are victimized from this.”
As for the illegal executive action that Obama is preparing, Babeu says, “He has to be stopped. This is authority that the ‘president’ himself, two years ago said he didn’t have and now, all of a sudden, Shazam, he thinks he has this executive authority.”
Babeu adds, “And that’s where it’s a federal overreach of his power and our Congress, and now an emboldened majority in the House and now a majority in the Senate, this ‘president’ must be stopped. The lawmaking body who must stand up for themselves to regain some measure of respect and say Mr. ‘president’ you are not going to do this and hold him accountable.”

President Barack Obama's administration should be held responsible for crimes committed by the illegal immigrants it has failed to deport or prosecute, says Pinal County, Arizona, Sheriff Paul Babeu.

"The president has said this, time and time again, that there will be no action taken, and often, what they do to skirt consequences or punishment for these criminals is they finally do deport them. And so, victims are denied justice," Babeu said Wednesday on Fox News Channel's "Your World with Neil Cavuto."

Adolfo Balbuena, 18, an illegal immigrant without a driver's license, has been charged in the hit-and-run death of Angeles Moreno, 3, on Sunday. Balbuena allegedly had been drinking, The Fresno Bee reported.

In Arizona, law enforcement officers are required to ask if there is reasonable suspicion that someone they have pulled over is in the country illegally, but Babeu said he can hold suspects only on state charges. They have to be referred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for immigration charges.

But ICE agents often let suspects go even if there is an outstanding warrant on them from ICE, Babeu told Fox News.

"That is a part of their policy," he said.

Hundreds of convicted criminals are released in his county annually, he said, and federal agents have refused to release their names.

"I don't know how we don't hold President Obama and this administration responsible for all these crimes, these deaths and these victims . . . because they knowingly released these offenders and these convicted criminals who are dangerous back into our communities," Babeu said.

One ICE lawyer, Patricia M. Vroom, has filed a discrimination complaint saying she was told to use prosecutorial discretion and pursue cases against illegal immigrants whom the administration deemed low-level priorities.
