Obama to Tackle Immigration Debate (For Real This Time)
Yes, we’ve all heard this line before. But Obama’s poll numbers are plummeting with Latino voters, and he has Rep. Luis Gutierrez breathing down his neck, so the president has suddenly remembered the urgency of tackling the immigration debate. Or at the very least, he’s remembered the urgency of paying lip service to it:
Participants at a White House meeting with Obama on Tuesday reported he’s determined to keep the issue alive – and asked for help forging a bipartisan consensus behind reforming an immigration policy he often calls “broken.â€"A Nation of sheep will beget a government of Wolves" -Edward R. Murrow

Why do they insist on saying that our immigration system is broken just because it does not suit them and their needs the only thing that is broken is the fact that the federal government refuses to enforce the existing laws that are already on the books "IT WOULD BE WRONG FOR THE FEDS TO OVERHAUL OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS IN ORDER TO PLEASE A BUNCH OF ILLEGAL PEASANTS FROM MEXICO". they need to make changes in their own country instead of coming here illegally and demandinig that we conform our system just to suit them. I'm sick of these illegal folks and their demands of a country that they happen to be in "ILLEGALLY". and I'm past sick and tired of having to press 1 for english. "DO YOU ALL THINK WE COULD GO AND OVERHAUL MEXICO'S IMMIGRATION LAWS" Well that is what they are wanting to do to ours and the dumbed down Obama is all for it.

illegals
Our immigration system is not broken. Obama and the Demos are broken. They do not want to enforce our immigration laws. We do not support amnesty for illegal aliens. Illegal aliens must be deported now. Too many legal immigrants enter our country each year. We do not need illegal aliens. We have to vote Obama and the Demos out in 2012. They are destroying our country and want to destroy it more with illega aliens.

Rev. Al Sharpton joins President Obama's immigration reform effort
WASHINGTON - President Obama remains committed to comprehensive immigration reform despite the incendiary nature of the issue.
Participants at a White House meeting with Obama on Tuesday reported he's determined to keep the issue alive - and asked for help forging a bipartisan consensus behind reforming an immigration policy he often calls "broken."
The Rev. Al Sharpton called the session "a very healthy beginning" and suggested proponents and opponents join together in "unlikely pairs" to "give a central message: Immigration reform is something America needs and something that America must do together."
"Immigration reform must be a priority," he said.
Sharpton urged the country to unite behind "a humane policy but a legal policy that does not threaten American citizens nor violate American law but at the same time deals with the basic need of building this country."
Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly also attended the meeting but did not speak with reporters afterwards.
"It was a good discussion," Bloomberg's chief policy adviser John Feinblatt told the Daily News. "We need an immigration policy that attracts the best, brightest and hardest-working to our shores to help create jobs and spur growth."
