Officer shoots, kills man after chase
Police say he fled after traffic stop, fought when caught

A Tucson police officer shot and killed a man who fought with him after being pulled over Saturday night on the Southwest Side, officials said.
A police spokesman, Officer Dallas Wilson, said he did not know if the man who was shot was armed.
The officer, whose name was not released, received minor injuries in the fight and was treated at the scene, Wilson said.
Wilson gave this account:
The shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. when the officer stopped a minivan at West Irvington and South Midvale Park roads.
The minivan's driver pulled into a Circle K convenience store lot, and the officer started to talk to him and his passenger.
The officer radioed to have the van impounded. He also requested that the Border Patrol respond because he suspected the pair was in the country illegally.
It was unclear if the driver and passenger heard the officer make the call, but at that point, both got out of the van and ran north.
The officer chased them and was able to take one into custody, but as they made their way back toward the store, the man began fighting with the officer.
It was during that fight that the officer shot the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not available.
Police had not found the other man who was in the van by late Saturday. Officers searched the area on foot, by car and with dogs and a helicopter.

Update: KGUN News reported tonight the driver admitted to the officer he had no drivers license, was in the country illegally and the car wasn't his. The car turned out to be stolen from Pima County.

The deceased driver tried to beat the officer with a flex baton when he was shot. The officer was injured.

The passenger was later arrested and may be charged with murder under the state's felony first degree rule which occurs when a death occurs in the commission of a crime even if he didn't cause it. This will only happen if our rotten County Attorney Barbara LaWall caries through with her responsibility.

They try to fight officers alot. One of the day laborers who was confronted by a black female police officer hit her in the Home Depot parking lot. She arrested him.

Politicians, such as Hillary, don't mind this at all! They want to reward illegals with drivers licenses and, of course, voter registration. The blame for all this also goes to the sociopath politicians (such as Hillary).

Definition of sociopath a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.

What this boils down to. Hillary is morally bankrupt. She is only capable of 2 emotions - pleasure and anger. She is totally incapable of empathy for others (except when faking it).

It's no wonder she sides with the illegals and not with law enforcement.

I realize that the incidents like this we read about - as frequent as they are these days are just a drop in the bucket - but it looks like somehow the idea would get across to some of these people supporting the illegals that they are not all 'just hardworking people looking for a better life.'

Are they getting the picture that a lot of them are criminals.

I'm waiting to hear within the next couple of days from our local pro illegal activists saying, "they didn't have to shoot the guy."

Who knows, maybe it will eventually lead to them holding rallies for the dead illegal alien too.

Map Wife: I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. We have that going on in a case involving Haitians. The police pulled them over and they used their SUV to try to hit the officers so they shot them. In the end 2 were dead and both of them had past arrests. The illegals are using all the same race cards as the blacks have in the past.

Trixie, the pro-illegal crowd will probably defend the illegal and blame our laws for making the guy trespass on U.S. soil and steal the van because our "broken" system won't allow him to do these things legally.
