Immigration bill about protecting American jobs, proponents say
Immigration bill would require employers to check Social Security numbers against E-Verify

HAMILTON — A bill that would require employers to check the Social Security numbers of new employees to assure they are in the country legally is all about giving jobs to Americans and taking away a paycheck from illegal immigrants during tough economic times, said state Rep. Courtney Combs, R-Hamilton.
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones said the bill also is about giving law enforcement more teeth to stop illegal immigrants with fake documents.
The Ohio Job Preservation Act was announced Thursday, May 14, by the lawmaker and crime fighter during a joint news conference.
It would require all public and private employers to check Social Security numbers against the federal government’s free E-Verify system before hiring someone.
There are two key parts to the proposed bill, said Jones, a longtime proponent of immigration reform.
“One is jobs. The economy is in the toilet and we are losing jobs out of this country,â€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Sounds good but Homeland Security will give all the IA's work visa's.
So what's the sense? Are we going to legalize all illegals 10-20 at a time?
What a bunch of CRAP!If Palestine puts down their guns, there will be peace.
If Israel puts down their guns there will be no more Israel.

In current polls vast majority of United States Citizens want our Immigration Laws Enforced and our National Borders Secured. Politicians without their own or their Elitist Political “Contributor’sâ€

Please read the following comment posted on the source article, this person has an agenda and must be profiting from his ILLEGALS:
Maybe someone with the stats would like to respond to the Pro-ILLEGAL comment in the source article concerning the cost and benefit of U.S. Citizens "hosting" ILLEGALS!
Consumers and American companies have benefitted from these workers. Who knows how many are working here? How do you find this out? They work for nothing without benefits. Most schools would have the same programs since many Hispanics are legal. We can't go back to the fifties. I think everyone wants to do something, but it is too late. You can't make companies do the work of the federal government. Don't waste taxpayer money!
