Americans For Legal Immigration PAC is asking Georgia voters to support Mike Collins for US Senate and oppose run-off challenger Derek Dooley in the June 16 run-off for US Senate, because Derek Dooley has indicated he supports changing existing immigration laws to allow illegals to stay in the US without fear of deportation, which ALIPAC and most Americans consider Amnesty.

On May 22, 2026, Breitbart News reported that "Republican Senate candidate Derek Dooley suggested that he supports allowing illegal migrants to stay in the United States, asserting that he is “very sensitive” to “both sides on the issue,” and that Dooley said...

By contrast, Representative Mike Collins has an enforcement-only approach to border security and illegal immigration, authored the Laken Riley Act, and is endorsed by Laken Riley's Family and the National Border Patrol Council. Mike Collins has a record of opposing Amnesty for illegals, saying straight up, "Amnesty for illegal aliens is an assault on American Citizens," and he called the Dignity Act Amnesty "just amnesty" and said the bill should be thrown in the garbage. His campaign website explicitly lists "Oppose Amnesty" as a core position on immigration alongside finishing the border wall, enforcing existing immigration laws, and ending chain migration.

"We believe Georgia voters have a clear choice in the June 16 run-off for US Senate between Amnesty opponent Mike Collins and Amnesty supporter Derek Dooley, who has shown support for an Amnesty that would displace millions of Republican voters in US elections with illegals given citizenship, Amnesty, and voting rights," said William Gheen, spokesman for ALIPAC. "We know that more than 80% of Georgia's Republican voters oppose Amnesty like Mike Collins does and ask that they send a clear message to DC and the nation on June 16 by defeating Derek Dooley's Amnesty for illegals!"

ALIPAC is asking a national network of illegal immigration and Amnesty opposing activists to converge their support as donors, voters, and volunteers to help Mike Collins win the June 16 Senate run-off in Georgia. The group also hopes to launch a video campaign ad in Georgia, reminding voters of how "Derek Dooley supports Amnesty for Illegals" later this week.
