    Mexican Deputies Decry Border Wall

    Mexican Deputies Decry Border Wall

Mexico, Dec 4 (Prensa Latina) The Mexican House, in plenary session Tuesday, condemned the US construction of a wall along the common border and said it violates immigrants' human rights.

The approved draft resolution was presented by Deputy Alfredo Rios Camarena, from PRI (Revolutionary Institutional Party), and supported by coordinators from all parties represented in the legislative body.

The House urged the president of the Republic to convey the country's condemnation of this construction and to demand cessation of works in the strongest terms possible.

Noting that the construction also affects relations between Washington and Latin America, the deputies demanded their stance to be conveyed to the Inter-American Human Rights Court, to adopt measures in favor of the human rights of immigrants and promotion of respect to people who try to cross the border looking for work.

In his speech, Rios Camarena said relations between the two countries are unfair, as US treatment of Mexico is humiliating and discriminatory.

We are neighbors, but we remain trapped in this web of international economy and globalization, he stressed.

Hey there chief... with friends like you... who needs enemies. Up goes the wall and I predict crime will plummet

I am assuming they fear crime will be stopped at the border and kept in Mexico

I have an Indian friend who has been to the Pakistani border and reports to me that anyone found sneaking across is shot.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

All my neighbors have fences, that's why they are such nice people!

A fence interferes with their cut from the drug trade. It couldn't be more obvious. You think these "deputy dawgs" give a flying fig about these people and are only happy to be rid of them and get back the remittances. They prey on them as much as anybody and see them as a "commodity."

Since when does anybody have a "human right" to violate the laws of another nation?? I declare it a violation of our human rights by millions of illegals trampling all over, killing citizens and conning our govt out of benefits, taking our jobs and destroying the culture.

Why can't we have the same border crossing policy as Mexico has....what's good for the goose is good for the gander.....They imprison anyone who invades their country....

Wonder why Mexicans think that's a right?

human rights of immigrants and promotion of respect to people who try to cross the border looking for work.
What about America's rights to a secure border and control of immigration?
In his speech, Rios Camarena said relations between the two countries are unfair, as US treatment of Mexico is humiliating and discriminatory.
Why isn't their southern border with Guatemala open that's even more discriminatory? I wish one of our corporate officials would tell Mexico to mind there own affairs.

Anything these hypocrits decry is good news for those of us who believe in the rule of law and our national sovereignty.

Mexico should send the Mexican army to stop the construction of the offending fence. Pull out all the stops. Show that Mexico means business.
