OK: Immigration law puts Edmondson in quandary
Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson defended the constitutionality of the state's new immigration law, saying he doubts it will be overturned. He made the comments Monday to the Governor's Advisory Council on Latin American and Hispanic Affairs.
But Edmondson also emphasized many negatives that House Bill 1804 is already causing the state government. He characterized the proposed "Son of HB 1804,â€Immigration reform should reflect a commitment to enforcement, not reward those who blatantly break the rules. - Rep Dan Boren D-Ok
