A police chase in Tulsa late Monday led to the arrests of five armed robbery suspects.

In jail are Leoncio Flores-Sanchez, 30; Ruben Romo, 22; Anthony Abila-Casdanon, 18; Michael Rojas, 18; and Glen Saldivar, 18.

The robbery occurred about 9 p.m. in the area of 21st Street and 129th East Avenue, according to a preliminary police report. The victim told police he was walking to a gas station when a car stopped in front of him.

Several men carrying guns got out and demanded his money, the report states. The robbers got away with cash and a cell phone, according to arrest reports.

The victim gave police a description of the vehicle, which was spotted by an officer about 45 minutes later with its headlights off.

The driver fled from police and led officers into a neighborhood near 21st Street and Mingo Road, an arrest report states. During the chase, the men threw several items from the vehicle. The car crashed into a large rock on a dead-end street, and the five occupants jumped out and ran in different directions.

An officer chased down one of the men, and police dogs helped with the others. The men were caught and arrested between 11 p.m. Monday and 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, jail records show.

Two of the men were treated for dog bites after their arrests.

The victim identified the five men as the ones who robbed him, and they were booked into the Tulsa jail between 4:30 and 7 a.m. on armed robbery complaints. Saldivar was arrested on a complaint of obstructing an officer, and Rojas had a complaint of resisting arrest.

The bonds for all five were at least $50,000. Abila-Casdanon, Rojas, Flores-Sanchez and Romo were being held without bond for immigration officials.
