Most illegals have zero interest in learning English. They believe we should learn Spanish. Unfortunately, many companies now share their sentiment.
They interviewed a lady on TV who was losing her house to foreclosure because she has a $500k mortgage loan, and makes minimum wage at a fast food restaurant.
The woman has lived in this country for 13 years and speaks NO English. Excellent assimilation.

How the heck DOES one go about getting a 500 thousand dollar mortgage while earning mere minimum wage?

It's called NINJA mortgages, and is a primary method of circumventing the system for illegals. NINJA is the acronym for No Income, No Job or Assets. Some mortgage companies also refer to them as "No Doc." Have you ever heard of anything so crazy?
