As other states continue to pass strong anti-ILLEGALS laws the ILLEGALS that do not return to their "home" countries will scurry to other states such as Texas. As communities within Texas pass anti-ILLEGALS laws the same ILLEGALS will scurry to Texas communities such as the Sanctuary City of Houston were they will receive a warm welcome from our Elitist Politicians, ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS, and other Special Interest Groups.

They live in their own communities with everything catered to their culture. They have little to do with American citizens, other than reaching their hands into the taxpayers' pockets. Their anchor children have full citizenship with never ending benefits; why would they ever leave?

    As Other States Get

Texas has been invaded and overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of Spanish speaking people. I have lived in the same area, north of Houston for 27 years. We are making plans to leave.
All the local stores cater to majority Spanish populations. Everything sold has Spanish language translation. If you own a business with no Spanish translator, you are considered racist.
We are moving to a small town in another state. No landscape jobs, or nannies or housekeepers needed. The schools are majority white, just like I remember this part of Texas in my youth.
I do not consider myself racist. I would help anyone in an emergency, regardless of race. I just prefer to be with people who speak my language and do not expect me to learn a new language. I am thankful that I am able to adopt a slower paced livestyle and live on less income. I refuse to pay for Obama's cap & trade, healthcare or amnesty. Perhaps I will qualify for food stamps and collect some of the money I have been compelled to contribute over many years.
Social Security will not be there for me. I will have to work to grow food, wear old clothes, forget healthcare and all the material "things". But I will be happier providing for myself and not all of the country or the world. Obama will not get my income to pay for his socialist agenda.

That is really sad Texas123, that your home state has been so invaded you feel you need to move. But I don't blame you a bit. I have already thought about what other COUNTRY I will move to, if the government-sanctioned invasion continues. Especially if amnesty ever passes. That will be it for me. And the invasion will just accelerate after that.

Well in Houston at least the Hispanic Harrris County Sheriff kept the 287(g) program and the city police will be implementing the Secure Communities Program in December...I read (here on Alipac) that the Harris County Sheriff Dept has deported as many illegals as the Maricopa County Sherrif's Dept.

I moved to Austin in 1969 at 6 years old, as an Air Force brat, with dad stationed at Bergstrom AFB.
I have watched Austin change so much over the last 40 years.

The biggest change being after 1986. By 1990 illegals started invading my trade. By 1995 it was more profitable for the company I worked for to send out the illegals to slap it in as fast as they could, and send me back around to try and fix the mess. Soon I was too costly, even with stagnant wages for the last 10 years, and I was asked to do some pretty unethical things, so I left, to go out on my own in 2001. I did way better financially out fighting for my own clients.

2007 it became evident for me to stay competitive, I would have to hire illegals and run many crews to make what I need to live off of.

I have bid stuff lower than I was working for in 1985, and still get told I'm too high priced. Now come on... Seriously How can I compete??

I am seriously thinking of packing up and leaving to Oklahoma, or Colorado, Leaving Sanctuary City Austin, where I grew up, got married, had children and loved for 40 years.
