If anyone is ignorant here, it's you, Nora. There's no human right to BREAK THE LAW! And our laws are more lenient than Mexico's where illegal immigration is a FELONY, and can get you up to 10 years in jail upon second offense. So if you want to talk about human rights, you should start with the MEXICAN government.

And they DON'T labor to make our life easier. They work to make money, most of which they send back to Mexico, instead of spending it here and support our economy. Illegals profit GREATLY by working in this country because they get paid several times more here than in Mexico.

So you have NOTHING to complain about. You people got a free ride here for years, and your ingratitude is another reason to deport you people out of this country.

If you think you're being oppressed here, go back to Mexico. I'm sure you'll have more freedom there.

These "freedom 4 all folks" only know corruption and gang rule. Not only is this not surprising, but I think it will become more prevalent as they become more empowered by our government.

    Human Rights

Human Rights? Each nation has its own idea of what Human Rights consists of, what their origins are, and how they are protected. Mexican law is not the Law of the United States. The whole argument boils down to sovereignty...If you do not believe in the idea of sovereignty, then you start talking about some fuzzy, vague idea of "Human Rights."

As a Brit who remembers the war and the events leading up to it I feel obliged to point out that 1 act of individual vandalism is in no sense reminiscent of cristallnacht. The horror of that evening was in the orchestration of a concerted attack by civil authorities on a section of their own populace. There is no comparison to the admittedly inexcusable destruction caused by a single disgruntled undesirable, or gang.

Hey you're funny lady. But I think you're living in a little bit of a dream world.

Why do the pro-illegal advocates never seem to have a logical argument to anything in regards to illegal immigration?

    Nora,

You obviously have me confused with an elitest or business owner that hires illegal immigrants. I've never vacationed in Mexico, but I have been to Yellowstone National Park. Please tell me how any illegal immigrant makes my life easier? I cut my own grass, wash my own laundry, perform my own home repairs, wash my own cars, etc. If it is the cost of a head of lettuce you're talking about, I'll gladly pay more to see every illegal in this great country deported.

Pleeeeeeese! You're are speaking about a minority of Americans, not the majority.

Walls are a sign of distrust, and that will never be the basis of a good friendship between two countries.”

Yep you got that right. How can you trust a people that invades your country illegally with no respect of our laws, with a horribly corrupt government, that will do nothing to curb illegal immigration or the drug traffic or human smuggling? You can't be friends with people like that.

Your ignorance flames the fire. Seems to me you should be taking up your Human Rights issues with your Mexican government. Seems from what I hear the only reason so many are here is for MONEY and freebies your own government doesn't give. You guys are fighting the wrong people in your own war. You defend Mexico like it's a paradise and make enemies of the people who simply want their laws obeyed and respected.

I mind if ANYONE isn't treated fairly at a job. Mexicans aren't the only people doing crappy jobs. Those same jobs are jobs we've done and still do. Any job being done doesn't JUST make my life easier it helps everybody......so get off your high horse thinking only Mexicans do a job of value and only we benefit.

I do not vacation in Mexico and never had a desire to. I don't hire anyone to do my lawn or any of the other services you all THINK we do.

    Nora,

    What about their rights?
I am so sick and tired of the abuse of this phrase. When an illegal alien chooses to enter our country illegally, they have no rights!! What part of illegal are you not understanding? How many Americans do you know who have visited Mexico and thrown a brick through a store owners window? What a cowardly act.
