Man Charged With Driving SUV Carrying 14 Illegals
23-year old Jorge Elizalde-Juarez is charged with knowingly transporting undocumented aliens. An indictment says he was arrested in July in Chase County driving a sport utility vehicle carrying 14 undocumented aliens from Mexico.

Wichita - The U.S. Attorney's office has charged a man with transporting illegals, following an arrest in Chase County.

23-year old Jorge Elizalde-Juarez is charged with knowingly transporting undocumented aliens. An indictment says he was arrested in July driving a sport utility vehicle carrying 14 undocumented aliens from Mexico.

He also is charged with one count of unlawfully re-entering the United States after being deported, four counts of aggravated identity theft, one count of making a false statement to the U.S. government, and one count of producing a false identification document. The crimes date back to 2007.

If convicted, he faces a maximum 10 years in federal prison and $250,000 fine on the transporting illegals charge; two years and a fine up to $250,000 on the re-entry and identity theft counts; five years and $250,000 for the false statement; and 15 years and $250,000 for producing a false identification.
