Waterville, Westbrook, Biddeford -
Two brothers who jointly own three Mexican restaurants in Maine are behind bars tonight, accused of harboring and hiring illegal aliens.

Federal agents with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement raided the Fajita Grill Restaurant in Westbrook today.

Agents arrested 35-year-old Guillermo Fuentes of Westbrook. His brother, 37-year-old Hector Fuentes of Waterville, was also arrested today.

Court documents show he owns the Cancun Mexican Restaurant in Waterville and the Cancun II in Biddeford.

Both are charged with conspiracy to harbor illegal aliens and engaging in practices to hire illegal aliens.

Court documents say the brothers took on at least four illegal workers from Mexico, between 2006 and 2011.

Hours after his arrest, Hector Fuentes made his first court appearance in federal court in Portland this afternoon.

An initial hearing has not been set yet for Guillermo Fuentes.

Both men are being held in jail until a detention hearing next month.
