Tancredo Goes On National TV to Alert Nation to Outrage

Unfairly prosecuted border patrol agent Ramos assaulted by 5 thugs in prison

Dear Friend of This Campaign,

Tom Tancredo here. I want to inform you of an outrage illustrating why I must run for and win the office of President.

Probably you have you heard of the case of the two Border Patrol agents who have been sent to prison for 10 years for wounding an illegal alien drug dealer.

One of the agents, Ignacio Ramos, was severely beaten in his prison cell Saturday night.

I talked to his wife yesterday and got the whole story. Tonight I went on CNN to tell the story.

Ramos was placed in a part of the prison inhabited by literally hundreds of illegal aliens, including drug dealers and other violent persons. Trouble was bound to come, and it did.

Saturday night five men entered his cell and got him down and kicked him over and over while he lay helpless and terrified. He is now bruised and sore, but I hope he will recover fully.

Even after this event, administration officials continue to waffle on requests from Congress that the agents be pardoned. The whole thing is outrageous!

When I'm President, drug dealers will be sent to prison. Border Patrol Agents and other guardians of our freedom will be valued and rewarded!

we need to elect a president who will enforce drug and immigration laws. Not try to tell us why we should allow them into our country and give them amnesty for breaking our laws.
