    There will soon be changes in the way Phoenix police officers communicate with illegal immigration.

    Phoenix police officers will be receiving new guidelines on how to deal with suspected illegal immigrants. Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon said training is well underway.

    "The vast majority of the police department have been trained, 3,000 officers," he said. "Within the next two to three weeks, we'll have a press conference with the chief announcing that the order is in place."

    The new policy states, among other things, anyone arrested for a misdemeanor or felony will be asked their immigration status.

    Exactly! And ARRESTED? What if they don't have a valid license and they let them go. We'll have to watch this one. Let's see what Sheriff Joe has to say.

    This should be enough to get some of them on the run. They won't be released if they're arrested for a felony. Where will they run to, do you think ? CA has a new welcoming commitee. Maybe they can get in on that $15,000 cash assistance Gutierrez is so fond of handing out.

    If they don't have a valid license, they should be considered illegal aliens and arrested with an immigration hold put on them.

    He is scared... Running scared.... Good we people, I can talk for myself are just FED UP with all this goodie goodie two shooo.... that, I want the LAWS upheld. We are going to start with you mayor, then next is the governor. We need the LAWS upheld. America is fed up with all the ILLEGALS coming over here spuging off the AMERICAN people. Uphold the LAWS or get OUT, or we the people will get you out.

    Don't trust him--he is watching what the feds have done for years to mislead the public. his next step is to tell Sheriff Joe he is no longer needed and then he and his toady police chief will bring back business as usual.
