PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - One of the most vocal figures in the Border Battle picks up the title of Sheriff of the Year.
The honor is being given to Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu.
The National Sheriff's Association has honored him with the 2011 Ferris E. Lucas Award.
The NSA calls Babeu "one of the most progressive sheriffs in the country."
Babeu will get the award on June 19 in St. Louis.
