Ruben Navarrette, the UT columnist and editor, got the axe last week!

Qué lástima, we need more Hispanic voices from all points of views, not fewer. We didn’t always agree with his perspective but we respected his point of view. There are many Hispanic perspectives, now just one less outlet. The community is not better for this. New owners of the U-T obviously unaware that the majority population in SD County in the near future will be Hispanic.

If Navarrette ever needs an outlet in San Diego there is always La Prensa, we don’t pay as well…. Navarrette will be fine. He is a syndicated columnist and sooner than later will end up at another news organization.

I think we all have noticed Ruben was geting more radical every week,I think his La Raza wife was a bad influence on Ruben. To Bad So Sad.

Actually I will mention that I live in Orange County, but now would like to show my support to their paper by buying a subscription, since they have done the right thing by firing the la raza racist!
