Police say Harvard man tried to elude officer

HARVARD – Bond was set at $24,000 for a Harvard man who police said tried to flee when an officer tried to pull him over.

Jose Escobedo-Herrera, 24, of 400 Grant St., was charged with two counts of fleeing and eluding a police officer, driving under the influence, resisting a peace officer, and at least a dozen traffic violations. His most serious charge is a Class 4 felony.

An immigration hold was placed on his bond, which means that authorities suspect that he is in the country illegally.

Escobedo-Herrera’s next court date is March 12.

Even a high class fancy education can't make a zebra change his stripes...LOL! Doesn't say if he has a license, insurance etc. but I'll bet that's where the "dozen" other charges come in.
