Project tries to show illegal immigration from migrants' perspective
BROWNSVILLE, Texas What does the illegal trek into the United States look like through the eyes of a migrant?
It's a question three filmmakers want to answer with photos taken by mostly Mexican and Central American migrants.
Rudy Adler, Victoria Criado and Brett Huneycutt passed out more than 100 disposable cameras with 27 exposures in Mexico to potential migrants.
They plan to distribute 250 cameras throughout the U-S-Mexico border by the end of summer for their project, "Documenting the Undocumented."
The camera project surfaced out of a series of short documentaries the group began filming this summer.
Migrants are instructed to return the cameras through the mail once they cross into the U-S. In return, the migrants will get copies of their photos and receive $25 dollars.
Adler, Criado and Huneycutt plan to select some of the prints for a traveling show.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

$25 to cross as an illegal while taking pictures? That's encouraging.
