08-20-2009, 08:41 AM #11The MSM can't ignore these stories the same way they just ignore the immigration status of an offender commiting a crime. They know the public takes notice and more and more citizens start to clamor for immigration law enforcement but instead our government tries to pass on the costs to us.In 2003, the American Southwest saw 77 hospitals enter bankruptcy due to unpaid medical bills incurred by illegal aliens. A staggering 84 hospitals in California alone, have been forced to close their doors because of the growing crisis.
Oh they say that IAs will not be covered but every amendment designed to gaurentee they don't has been shot down by the Dems. They want to leave a loophole to allow the IAs coverage!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

My patience and tolerance is worn thin--
-- if the citizens of CA cannot defend themselves, if they cannot enforce state and Federal laws, if they continue to elect and support officials who ALLOW, even FIGHT FOR the "rights" of those who come here illegally, they deserve their fate.
The country is changing, it is not changing for the better. If I expressed the thoughts in my mind, the left would call me a xenophobe and a racist.
My tolerance for that nonsense is over. In my personal dictionary, based on the use of certain words by ignorant, uneducated slime--I now equate Bigot and Xenophobe with patriot. They are synonyms. I will be complimented if they call me those names.
And those wise folks in SC who re-elected Graham. They sold the country out.

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

JohnDoe
re your post
Good deal and I wish the taxpayers of CA all the best with this effort.
I received mail today from Heritage. They are seeking money to launch a national campaign to redefine the 14th amendment to its original purpose. After Kelo and a few other SCOTUS decisions, I would not bet my house on the outcome.
Based on my statement above, while I wish you good luck, I sympathize and say that CA should not have to bear that burden on their own. If you want to get it done , you have to do it. If it passes muster, then the othe states can use CA as a model.
