I would send these families my deepest condolences. Of course? I would also remind you that a majority of the violence is from the criminals and drug dealers crossing the borders. So instead of squashing all immigrants like pesty ants, why don't we just strengthen our borders and prosecute the criminals. So you say that Latinos are more violent. If this is true then perhaps it's because they live in poverty.

You speak of liberal compassion for the immigrants and assume that we don't care about Americans. We have compassion for all people. It just happens to be the illegal immigrants who are being hurt in an unnecesary way. The Fremont Law is an easy way around the problem. An easy way for people to express their anger. Why don't you rally for strengthening the border and get to the root of the problem?

The article lists that the concert is sold-out. This is not true. A man walked up and down our neighborhood (we live near Benson, where the concert is held). He was knocking on every door, offering free tickets to the event (both day and night concerts). He said donations would be great but not necessary. He went to each door on our block, the next block, etc. I know this as our neighbors are close and talk. I believe they just want to get many people present for "media" purposes and to have a great "Kodak moment".
