03-01-2009, 08:17 AM #12Is that not against the law during a protest to carry a firearm? Usually to protest you have to have a license to do so and it must be with orderly conduct. That is one person they should have arrested!"One of the protestors was wearing a black mask, fully covering his face except for his eyes and his nose, [and] a black Raid t-shirt," Matteson said. WHOA Uniteasone!
'About the time an individual's 2nd Amendment Rights for NOT agreeing with us is the time ALL of our Second Amendment Rights will be quashed.
Here in AZ, we've maintained our Second Amendment Rights & no matter how much I'd like to meet that individual with the ski-mask, I'll STILL support his Right to carry.
As long as the weapon was NOT concealed (if he did NOT have a CCW Permit), he was legal regardless of the fact he was a misguided bonehead

03-02-2009, 10:26 AM #14I don't claim to even come close to being familiar with gun laws, but if this person was an illegal alien or convicted felon, those rights don't belong to him/her, do they? Or am I wrong?

If "...but if this person was an illegal alien or convicted felon, those rights don't belong to him/her, do they? Or am I wrong?"
You are CORRECT. If the individual was in fact an illegal, he does NOT have the right to carry (regardless of how much Lobbyists for Illegals squeal and moan), if they are here illegally they do NOT have Citizen's Rights.
