Protests of Arizona SB 1040 law promised as deadline looms
Protests and rallies are being planned in Phoenix and around the country on July 29, the day police are set to begin enforcing the controversial Arizona immigration law By Daniel B. Wood, Staff writer / July 23, 2010
The furor over tough new Arizona immigration law will take the form of rallies, vigils, marches, and protests beginning next Thursday, the day the law is scheduled to take effect.
The statute, which requires state and local law enforcement agencies to check the immigration status of people they stop for other reasons, and makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally, is the subject of seven lawsuits, the third of which, brought by the Justice Department, was heard Thursday. No injunction has yet been issued to stop the law.

Those idiots traveling to AZ are more than offsetting the "economic boycott" by going there and spending money, and enticing SB1070 supporters to do the same!!!

Before the over abundance of labor in Arizona a major element in the economy was semi retired Americans from other states. They were part time workers who avoided full time work in order to keep receiving Social Security. If they return it will require two such Americans to take up the jobs held by each illegal alien. The Americans will be likely to be less densely settled and soak up more housing than an equal quantity of illegal aliens.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

We all know that it will not remain peaceful
These people are use to getting their way through bloody revolution and violence
It can only work in our favor to let them go nuts , let America see these "peaceful people just here to work"
I just hope our side has the cameras rolling

Good thing
Good thing the National Guard has been and is now active in Arizona now. They had better protect the citizens and property.

This is happening because the federal government doesn't enforce it's own laws.
