Rep. King Slams Senate on Immigration
The national outrage over the government's failure to stop illegal immigration has not caught hold in the Senate, says Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y.
"There going to use this term 'immigration reform,' and their idea of immigration reform is to throw a few things, a few nods towards border security without being serious about it," he said.
King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told Lou Dobbs Wednesday night that the Senate's way of getting rid of 10 million of the 11 million illegal immigrants now in the United States is to legalize them.
"I think the Senate is going to come up with legislation that will legalize them, and it's going to lead to citizenship -- if that's not amnesty I don't know what you'd call it. I think it's a real disconnect between the American people on one hand and the mainstream media and the senators on the other."Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Oh for Christs sake...do they even know what they are doing!? I truly worry that legalization will lead to lawlessness...I think everybody is way to wound up and polarized on this... I hope we can avoid this from going badly... Congress better wake up!

Pete King is a stand up man, and he also said in that interview
HE WILL NOT sign anything that has amnesty in it.
He also said he gets dozes of letters each week, from companies saying how they want cheap labor, but he will not go for it.
He admitted to Lou that for the Republicans and the Democrats it's about votes, special interests, and big businesses.
