    Replacing Americans

    SHAMEFUL!!!!!!

    Replacing Americans

Supporters of mass immigration tell us we're running out of warm bodies to do all the scut work our economy demands, so we need to import more from abroad. Well, my research director has done a brief report on immigration and employment in Georgia that debunks this notion and may illuminate some of the public passion about the amnesty bill. Just from 2000 to 2006, as immigration has increased, the proportion of less-educated Americans over all in Georgia who are working has declined, the proportion of less-educated black Americans who are working has declined, and the proportion of American teenagers who are working has declined. In fact, the number of these native-born Georgians who aren't in the labor force is several times larger than the total number of illegal workers there. True, the Americans thus displaced almost certainly are the least productive part of the labor force, but that just puts the question this way: Who do we want dealing with workers least-suited for success in the modern American economy? Businesses forced by a tight labor market to incorporate them into the life of work, or the social-welfare and criminal-justice bureaucracies? Seems like an easy choice to me.

    Replacements

It is true that Americans are being replaced by illegals and not just in the workforce.

I noticed this trend over 20 years ago and it is accelerating. The question is, why is this being done?

    The answer is shocking.

The core populace in the US is in decline and it has been for over 30 years. Our birthrate has dropped below the level where we can maintain a replacement population. Most people think that a replacement population is 2 children per couple but the real number is about 2.25 children per couple, because some people never marry, are sterile, or simply don't reproduce. Also, some people will die before they reach maturity.

Our birthrate dropped below the 2.25 level around 1970 and has never recovered. In order to maintain the current population, the government has relied on immigration both legal and illegal. Immigration is the only reason that the US has not shown a decline in population.

We have allowed over 35 million immigrants into the country in the last 30 years alone. This is not a problem, but the numbers of uneducated, illiterate, or criminal immigrants is a problem. Those who cannot read or speak english are at a major disadvantage in the society and they have a hard time assimilating. The undeducated have trouble getting a keeping a decent job. The disadvantage of importing criminals should be obvious to everyone.

We need immigration in this country, but we don't need uncontrolled immigration. There are billions of people around the world who would like to come to the US and who would make excellent citizens. We need to be selective and choose the cream of the crop. The most skilled, the most educated, the most law abiding, and the most productive. This can only be done through legal immigration and by a strong stance against illegals.

You have forgotten that many jobs are being outsourced to other countries. We don't need work visas or illegals. the remaining jobs need to go to americans.
