    Bond will vote for cloture because he wants to see if his amendment makes it onto the bill and the only way to do that is to go through the cloture process.

    His staff told me that on Friday and I heard that on the radio tonight.

    I hope that is a bluff because his amendment will suposidly strip the bill of amnesty.

    That sounds like a perfectly legitimate reason for selling out one's country.

    I'm sure Sen. Bond imagines that Harry Reid is going to allow an amendment which deletes amnesty from the bill.
