Reporter Investigating Invasion of Ohio City Witnesses Haitian Crash Into Mother, Child

A New York Post journalist reporting on the invasion of Springfield, Ohio, witnessed a Haitian driver make an illegal turn and crash into a mother and her young daughter while on his way to work at Amazon this week.

Robyn Stultz, 32, was driving with her 7-year-old daughter on Friday when a man in a Hyundai collided with her pickup truck.

“The Haitian driver made a right turn from the left lane — marked for continuing straight or turning left — and crashed into Stultz’s Ford F-350, which was making a right turn from the right lane, when he tried to overtake her, a Post reporter observed,” the paper reports.
The Haitian told the Post he has lived in the U.S. for three years and was heading to an Amazon facility where he works.

“I went to turn, there was an accident and that’s it. Why are you asking me questions?” the Haitian told the reporter.

The mother and daughter were not injured in the crash, but her truck sustained damage.

“The Haitians just don’t know our laws. They are causing accidents all the time. They just need to learn the laws of the road, they need schooling,” Stultz said.

“My kids stay at home 95% of the time because the roads aren’t safe with these Haitian drivers.”

Another local resident told the Post that crashes and near-collisions with Haitian drivers are a daily occurrence in Springfield.

“Every day I almost get hit by Haitians at this same intersection,” the man said.

“The Haitians don’t know how to drive.”

Springfield has been plagued by a variety of crises tied to the arrival of around 20,000 citizens of the troubled Caribbean nation in recent years.

Journalists and officials from across the country have been investigating — and often confirming — reports of pets and wildlife being eaten and ritualistically sacrificed, a “rise” of communicable diseases, and a surge of driving-related dangers.
