    PROVIDENCE

    About 300 May Day demonstrators staged a peaceful but noisy rally outside the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office Friday afternoon, demanding an end to immigration raids and calling for amnesty for illegal immigrants and national comprehensive immigration reform.

    Similar annual May Day rallies were taking place around the country.

    “We have a very clear message to send to ICE — you are not welcome here in Rhode Island any more,â€

    Looks like the confrontations against I.C.E. are increasing. I think these radicals need to be given civil disobedience tickets and have to work out some community service time washing police cars or picking fruit.
