In the 11 years that Perry has been my governor, I've seen him become more and more conservative on issues.
[quote]He spoke out last year against using E-Verify to prevent illegal immigrants from getting jobs as state employees, who get their paychecks from the taxpayers. He insisted it “would not make a hill of beans’ difference.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Perry will be Obamas 2nd term.Nobody wants another Bush.Texas right now isnt doing as good as Perry is letting on.Most work in the state is new oil drilling so the oil barrons get richer or jobs that are minimum wage that AMERICANS have to compete with illegals to get.McCain Palin got Obama elected and Perry + will get Obama reelected.

Speaking of 'undocumented liberals.'
When George W. Bush left office, Laura Bush finally disclosed how liberal they were by revealing all that time she had been a closet supporter of gay rights and abortionJoin our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & to secure US borders by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

George Bush has always been way more Liberal than Perry. Really, I wouldn't compare the two, they are totally different.
In Texas, the Lt. Governor is elected separately from the Governor. They are not on the same ticket. It's actually possible to have a governor from one party and an Lt. gov from the opposite party. That being said, Bush didn't give Perry anything and Perry was not beholding to him for his political career.
Bush made such a mess of this state with all his bipartisan BS, he tried to take that to DC and got slapped down. I've NEVER voted for Bush because I knew what he was from the get go. To this day, I don't understand how the nation fell for his double talk and liberal ways. I've never considered Bush a conservative. In contrast, I consider Perry a conservative, however he has some unsettling globalist issues.

I closely watched what was going on at the end of the session and during the 30 day special session, when the sanctuary bill was in play. Perry was not the problem. It was the state legislature. Both houses passed a bill and the Senate waited until the last minute and there was no time to compromise. Our special session are very unique and unlike any other state, they are limited to 30 days and the legislature had to deal with school funding and budget issues. Perry didn't stall it, didn't kill it, didn't do anything to stop it and the dead sanctuary city bill is all on the state legislature. Rick Perry pushed against Bob Perry but the legislature didn't. They are the ones owned by HEB. I would have to say, the senators are the main problem, since they passed their own weaker version, instead of passing the bill that had already passed the house.
