A Salvadorian man with multiple felony convictions in the United States is facing his fourth deportation following a drunken driving arrest in Jefferson County, according to court records.

Oscar Guevara-Salamanca, 42, is set for arraignment in U.S. District Court in Knoxville on Tuesday on a charge of re-entry by an illegal alien previously deported subsequent to conviction for an aggravated felony.

Guevara-Salamanca most recently was arrested on charges of DUI and violation of implied consent by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in June. Subsequently, he was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

He has previous felony convictions for burglary and receiving stolen goods in Virginia, as well as escaping from jail in South Carolina, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Guevara-Salamanca last was deported in September 2017, a few weeks after being captured in Big Stone, Va.

He first was deported in December 2006 after being taken into custody by ICE in Norfolk, Va. in 2003.

U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested Guevara-Salamanca again in Cuero, Texas in August 2007. He was convicted of illegal re-entry and deported for a second time in September 2010.
