    SC:Church’s program courts hispanics

    Legal or illegals?

    Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009
New Day Baptist church’s program courts hispanics
Cultural blending ‘on God’s heart,’ pastor says

The high-pitched squeaks of rubber soles against hardwood offered a fitting accompaniment to the on-court chatter Saturday afternoon in the North Columbia gym.

Praise the Lord for workers in His harvest fields!

That's a great outreach for a church that is not yet multi-lingual and/or multi-racial, but which is seeking to build friendships.

Lorick Park is between the railroad tracks and the creek, down the hill from the old Salvation Army Thrift Store. Greenview Park is not in that neighborhood at all, but out by I-20.

Eau Claire is not a bad neighborhood, just really old. The nearest Roman Catholic Church is all the way downtown, and there is certainly a need in that part of the city. New Day Baptist Church shows herself worthy of prayer for God's blessing... they are at work at the Lord's Great Commission.
One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!
