Maimi Dade college had been quietly doing this for some time. The Gomez brothers were going there on a scholarship and we all know that they were illegals and the parents were deported. The sone stayed on a visa and fools like Dodd agreed to extend their visas.

Has judicialwatch.org been made aware of this? This is truly racist and discriminatory against all other ethnic students in the U.S. Also someone should forward this to ACLU and see how they respond (out of curiosity)...

Why do you think they call the ACLU the Alien Civil Liberties Union in South Florida? They won't touch this at all on behalf of legal immigrants. I had a relative try and actually told her that they did not want to offend the Hispanic population.

Seriously....U.S. citizen students should apply anyway...and assuming that all the other criteria are met.....the rejections would be made purely on the fact that the student 1) is not a "chicano" , nor 2) an illegal alien. Get that in writing and it would make nice evidence to file a complaint with the civil rights office for discrimination based on citizenship, race/ethnicity and/or national origin.
