    Atlanta businessman Herman Cain returns to Iowa Monday following a staff hiccup to open his state headquarters and speak with Scott County Republican Women, but he’ll be doing so under the glare of the Republican Hispanic community.

    Somos Republicans, the nation’s largest Hispanic GOP watchdog group with an Iowa affiliate, has taken exception to statements made by Cain that the way to solve the nation’s concerns with illegal immigration is to build a moat filled with alligators and an electrified “Great Wall of China.â€

    Many Hispanics find his recent comments comparing immigrants to ‘invading Huns’ offensive, and also insensitive when thousands of immigrants died crossing the desert.
    Well maybe if illegals had stayed home they would be safe and sound in their hometowns. However, greed - jobs and free benefits - enticed them to make the trip. If articles I recently read are accurate, the greatest danger to illegal immigrants is Mexican drug cartels preying on travelers.

    The biggest danger to the American citizen is illegal aliens.

    I call on Somos Republicans to drop their support of these illegal alien foreigners, and start protecting the citizens of America from them.
