Unbelievable that an elected representative of We the People doesn't even know what the Constitution says or doesn't say

You know, that really should become a job requirement...for everyone desiring to hold any kind of public office at any level. You're not even allowed to get a driver's license if you don't know the law and rules and can't pass a test, but for some reason people are allowed to govern without knowing the laws and rules of the Constitution....now doesn't that just make sense

Really......how in the heck can they take office swearing an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution when they don't even know what it says, for God's sake?

They can't. And I think that's a big part of the problem we've got on our hands now.

It just goes to show that when they are sworn in to office they all lie when it comes to upholding the Constitution in their "Oath of Office"

They don't even know what their job is supposed to be...kick them all out!!!!!

The authority to regulate health care is an implied power of the Federal government. But the constitution doesn't give the Federal Goverment the authority to require people to purchase any good or service. It seems to be illegal and unconstitutional. Otherwise people lose their freedom of choice. Probably the Supreme Court will declare it unconstitutional.

Isn't it ironic, they think they can force Americans to buy health insurance but don't believe they can make illegal aliens get out of the country.

I look forward to the rise of the black market.

Time to run off the Fed.

Perhaps a tax revolt from those that will not pay taxes for abortion?

Where does this leave Romney, the one responsible for enacting mandatory participation in the Massachussetts health care reform which has yet to be challenged(?) as constitutional?

If the government provides a good or service it can force people to pay for it like social security by requiring people to pay FICA. But in this case people are required to buy the insurance from private providers. That's not really constitutional. That's like saying you have to buy a politician's book but if you don't you have to pay a fine.

    That's why I can't vote for Romney.
