That is exactly what the Democrats plan to do, they are already talking about it. Since the bill does not require current employees be verified for four years, they have four years in which to say: "we are enforcing the laws, now let us pass a general amnesty". This is why we also need to keep pushing the state laws and 287g programs, to get rid of as many illegals as soon as possible.

I don't think the Save Act "grandfathers" current employees for four years. It initially starts with large companies that verify ALL social security numbers and over a four year period works down to smaller companies.

The phased in four year period also pervents the govt's E-verify program from being over loaded. If all companies immediately started using it, it would crash. The four year period helps ramp it up. I suspect it will required additional funding.

The Save Act turns off the job magnet and deserve our full support.

Sure pay off college loans!! Do they really think these people would work the border 6 months after their loan is paid off, give us all a break. Not many people want to work the border and end up were the other agents are currently.
