A new proposal floated on Thursday in an effort to deter the hiring of illegal immigrants would put biometric identifiers into Social Security cards. That change would make the cards more difficult to forge and counterfeit, Mr. Schumer said.

If politicians were half as interested in protecting the constitution as they are in putting border patrol agents in jail for doing their jobs, this problem would not exist in the first place. Second; how stupid does Mr. Schumer think we are? The push is to legalize illegal activity. That tells us that any measure taken, such as issuing new social security cards that can't be easily forged, is just another fraud aimed duping us again with a different ploy. I say impeach the whole lot of them AND deport the illegals.
