Senators Against the Dream Act
From my calls, the following senators seem to be against the Dream Act, at least at it pertains to the Defense Bill:
Crapo, ID
Ben Nelson, NE
Sununu, NH
Domenici, NM
Cornyn, TX
Barrasso, WY
Why hasn't Senator Dorgan come out against the Dream Act? He seems to be great on the issue of illegal immigration otherwise.

I plan on talking to all the offices.....
Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

For the folks that aren't quite as rushed, and don't mind engaging in a little schmooze, can you probe a little and see what the call ratios are running (for /against)? Please make a note of it and report back and we'll compile that info to help us focus where needed. (thanks!)

Re: Senators Against the Dream Act
After Durbin made his 'adjustments' to the DA, on the 19th I believe, I spoke with Dorgan's office and was told he would vote NO on the DA (even after the revision- I confirmed). I don't think he ever confirmed with Numbers USA though, did he? Anyway- TODAY when I spoke with his office i was told (by the staffer on the phone) that he wasn't aware of Sen. Dorgan having a position on the DA. I called back a few minutes later and was told the same thing by a different person. (This was late this afternoon, just before 5pm EST) Did anyone else get this from his office today?

Also- Sununu's office has consistently said he will vote NO.
Didn't get a yes or no from Cornyn or Kyl this afternoon.
I've been hounding especially hard on Landrieu, Stabenow, Rockefeller Warner and Webb.
Hutchinson's office says she will vote against but I haven't seen confirmation. I need to re-check Roy's list.
