Where did he get $6 billion from? Off the top of his head probably.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has called anyone who is concerned about the amount of state money that is being wasted on illegal aliens prejudiced. An outright call of racism from the governor of a state that has allowed it to be run into the ground rather than facing problems head-on.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said Wednesday that the claim by some conservative activists that illegal immigration is to blame for all of the state's fiscal problems is ignorant and bigoted.

'Anyone who says you have a budget crisis because of undocumented immigrants, I would say this is a prejudiced comment rather than reality,' the governor said, challenging a claim regularly made by opponents of his fiscal plans.

Someone is not living in reality and it's not those he accuses as racists.

In 2004 I posted on a report that shows that illegal aliens cost the state of California $9 billion per year. That was 5 years ago. Since then millions more illegal aliens have entered this country, millions more babies have been born to illegal aliens, and I can only imagine what the costs to California are now. Much more than $9 billion a year.

A recent report from Bloomberg shows that California's budget shortfall is $8 billion dollars per year.

California’s revenue over the next 16 months will fall at least $8 billion short of what Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and lawmakers assumed when they passed a budget in February, the state’s fiscal analyst said.

The shortfall would leave California with a $6 billion deficit by June 2010, after a $2 billion budget reserve is spent, state Legislative Analyst Mac Taylor said in a report to lawmakers today. The shortfall would grow to $12 billion in the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2010, he said.



So exactly how much of an idiot is Governor Schwarzenegger? A 4 year old estimate of $9 billion spent on illegal aliens... and a recent showing the budget is short $8 billion. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that you can cover your deficit by cutting off all expenditures to illegal aliens in your state.

Hospitals in California have been closing at a rapid rate due to a federal mandate that forces them to provide care to illegal aliens without asking their immigration status. In essence free health care, and no hospital can continue doing that without eventually going out of business, no matter how much humanitarian speech is thrown at the problem.

Schwarzenegger is a coward in my opinion and worried about being called a racist if he addresses an obvious problem. Instead of worrying about what you are being called by a group of ethnic racists who want freebies, how about worrying about doing what is right for your state so that you will leave a legacy of fiscal responsibility for the future of California?

The way this economy is going poor American men of any age might do well to hook up with an illegal alien and have a few kids asap! Just be sure not to get married though because then the government might try to cut off the FREE RIDE because the guy is an American. Sadly, I doubt a poor American woman could use this ploy.

Anchor baby citizenship must be halted Asap. Most of the illegals here working have brought their dependent wives/girlfriends with them and are having anchor babies on U.S. soil. The illegal alien moms then sign their Spanish speaking children up for Headstart and other governments programs at taxpayer expense and then put them in the school system for kindergarten. These people never intend to leave; after all, they are parents of U.S. citizens.

Don't you just love the way amnesty supporters always use inaccurate, low-end stats like 12 million illegals in the U.S. or $6 billion in benefits/services for illegals in CA?!!
