Seventh arrest made in Richmond, California rape case
Richmond Police reportedly arrested a sixth male in connection to the gang rape of the 15-year-old girl outside Richmond High School while a homecoming dance was taking place Saturday night.
According to the Contra Costa Times, 18-year-old Jose Carlos Montano was arrested at his home in San Pablo at approximately 5 p.m. Although it was unclear whether or not Montano was a student at Richmond High School, Richmond Police Lt. Mark Gagan said that the teen had played a "significant" role in the gang rape of the 15-year-old girl.
Salvador Rodriguez, 21, has yet to be charged but remains in jail. Manuel Ortega, 19, was arraigned separately and charged with rape, robbery and assault causing great bodily injury.
Richmond Police are actively searching for a number of other individuals that may have been involved in the gang rape. A $20,000 reward has been offered and authorities are hopeful that the offered reward will encourage people to come forward as witnesses.
Gagan said that Richmond Police would request charges of rape, rape in concert with violence, penetration with a foreign object and a special enhancement requesting life in prison. "The charges accurately reflect the severity of the suspect's actions," he said.
Richmond Police found the 15-year-old girl near a picnic table outside the high school after receiving a tip from someone who overheard a teen "reminiscing" about what had happened outside the homecoming dance. The 15-year-old was found semi-conscious, inebriated, and brutalized. She had been gang raped, beaten, and robbed over a two-hour period. Police suspect that at least ten young males were directly involved in the multiple rapes while at least two dozen watched, many laughing and cheering and taking pictures.
Of the five already in police custody, three appeared in court Thursday for arraignment. According to the Associated Press, they arrived in bulletproof vests. Cody Ray Smith, 15, Ari Abdallah Morales, 16, and Marcelles James Peter, 17, were all charged as adults with rape-in-concert and sexual penetration with a foreign object. They were also charged with special circumstances that could make them eligible for a life sentence.
Police spokesperson Jimmy Lee would not elaborate why the teens were wearing bulletproof vests. A prosecutor told the Associated Press that the office was receiving an enormous amount of phone calls and e-mails that were "expressions of outrage from all over the country."

Richmond, CA is a notorious Sanctuary City
I post this story because the victim, who was obviously white or mixed race (not an anchor baby), was brutalized in Richmond, CA (a sanctuary city), by a group of central american teens, who may or may not be in this country illegally, that hail from countries where women are property and womens rights are a joke. If your ever curious, look up the rape statistics for countries like El Salvador, Honduras or even Puerto Rico.

This is like a bomb going off in Richmond. Imagine the trauma of that girl, her family and friends, the therapy she is going to need to cope. And American taxpayers will be "correcting" these boys for the rest of their sorry lives..

Imagine all the politicians and officials trying to cover this up so it doesn't feed the feelings about people who want immigrants to be LEGAL.
In Phoenix we didn't hear about the one kidnapping a day issue until way after we were in over our heads. And Heraldo Rivera thinks it's because Sheriff Joe is arresting illegals.
The more we can stay on top of these items and get them out to the world the more it appears we need to get a grip on this. No rolling over. Getting a grip.

What bothers me most about the Richmond rape case is that people who watched are being considered witnesses. They are not witnesses, they are participants. A witness is someone who happens to see a crime occur. They stood there and watched and took picutures. She is 15...a child. They are all guilty of participating in her rape, even if all they did was watch.
If you have pictures of children being raped, you are guilty of a felony. I dont see the difference if you have a video, a picture or watch in real time. They watched because they were enjoying watching. They did not get help for her, because they were enjoying watching her be raped. So why are they being classified as witnesses? Even if she were an adult, watching and enjoying seeing someone get raped is participation, not witnessing.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

It doesn't matter what race the young lady was. The fact is that she was brutally raped for more than two hours with a group of cheering onlookers.
I think the police and prosecutors are treading very carefully to make sure the case holds up.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Gringo, I do recommend that you cease qualifying crimes by the race of the perpetrator or victim. That is entirely unacceptable to anyone that uses this site, and there are many people of many races and cultures.
The important thing is a terrible crime happened -- perps arrested, witnesses doing nothing to help her.
Race or ethnicity has nothing to do with this. Period!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
