SEBASTOPOL (BCN)

Sebastopol police arrested two men Wednesday suspected of being in the country illegally after neighbors complained about drug dealing and late night parties at a Mary's Lane residence.

Sgt. James Connor said officers contacted six people Wednesday morning at the 7330 Mary's Lane residence to determine if they were complying with the terms of their probation.

Willie Lopez Granillo, 25, was on probation for four separate cases and was required to register as a sex offender, Connor said. Granillo was deported three times, most recently in June, but he returned to the United States and failed to register as a sex offender, Connor said.

He was arrested for providing false information to police, failing to register as a sex offender and for violating his probation. Immigration officials placed a detention hold on Granillo, Connor said.

Police also arrested a second man who gave a fictitious identity. Immigration officials also placed a detention hold on him and they are investigating his identity, Connor said.
