Sheriff: Suspects haven't been identified in Falcon Lake death

ZAPATA — The sheriff here said Saturday night that suspects haven’t been identified in the case of a man who was reportedly killed on Falcon Lake, despite television reports.

At least two local media outlets reported that Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez had identified two suspects, Gonzalez said. The reports suggested those men could be connected to the Zetas, a powerful drug cartel reported to control the Mexican side of Falcon Lake.
