Among the millions of Americans frustrated with the refusal by the federal government to forcefully control illegal immigration is South Carolina Senator Glenn McConnell. As President Pro Tempore of the Senate McConnell has explained why he is calling for the nation’s first use of the US Constitution’s Article V provision for a convention of state delegates to propose constitutional amendments.

“While this action is unprecedented, I also believe that the danger facing our country is unprecedented. We need to act now. …Congress has refused or is incapable of acting, thereby leaving the states in the position of burning while Congress fiddles. …the problem of illegal immigration is one that has reached a boiling point,â€

You know what I was thinking, what if Legislators state the reason for calling a Constitutional Convention is to preserve the sovereignty of the USA and US Citizen rights? That is why the globalists want illegal immigration, to take these away from us. This reason would allow them to discuss issues beyond state enforcement and anchor babies, they could also for example prevent Corporations from giving any money to politicians or PACs.

I'm no expert by any means, but I seem to remember that a Constitutional Convention would have the power to totally re-write the Constitution, so Congress is very reluctant to let such a convention happen.

I would like to add that there is no freedom from being offended rights and that pc is not an enforceable law. I would also add an amendment stating you can not be tried for perceived thoughts. If they get a convention and it is re-written. lets clear a few things up.

I'm going to start tomorrow calling my state representatives.
I posted yesterday a video in which the lecturer was explaining that the state leginlators are easier to convince than the federals.

I like this approach Bowman. That's what I would want it to do.

Letter to Governor, Rep and Senator: requesting that Florida participate. I do not expect any action, but any protest to any elected official can not hurt the effort. I also contacted Florida Attorney General requesting that FL succeed from the Union. That was several months ago and I have received no answer. Guess he does not have an appropriate form letter. It is amusing to think of the many ways to needle them.
