RIO GRANDE CITY - Cloned vehicles are often used by smugglers to stay under the Valley's law enforcement radar. A fake DirecTV service van was discovered Wednesday in Rio Grande City.
Smugglers use the cloned vehicles to move drugs through Valley cities. They're trucks and vans marked with company logos. Police and Border Patrol agents already consider this a trend. It's new to people like Sal Saldivar. He owns and operates Sal's Vinyl Grafx Sign Shop in Pharr.
