CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts -- Shakira was honored Saturday by Harvard University for her artistic and humanitarian work. She later said some U.S. states' proposed anti-immigrant legislation goes against her foundation's efforts to provide education to poor people around the world.

What do you expect from that kind of institution left leaning thinking, for leftys....Yea right education, for poor people, as long as someone else pays for it like the tax payers...putting your money where your mouth is, now that would be a novel idea!

Exactly, In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn she was bestowed an honorary degree (humanities perhaps?) from Harvard, in order of course to recognize all her outstanding work done on behalf of la raza!
