6 Comments The state attorney general is warning law enforcers in Morristown and Hudson County — who have signed up as Homeland Security deputies — that they’d better not put immigration policing ahead of their basic local duties.
Attorney General Anne Milgram wrote to the law enforcers that, despite their acceptance into the 287 G Homeland Security program, “local law enforcement officers cannot act as federal immigration officials when patrolling our streets.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
