Sanctuary city?

I am in a sanctuary state (Oregon)

The last time Ice was here in Portland the Mayor (Tom Potter) was screaming and whining the loudest about how it wasn't fair that families were broken up, he said something to the effect that only three people should have been arrested and that was the three people that were providing the fake documents for them.

Our gov (ted kulongoski) has many times publicly said that because of agriculture we need the illegals here and he admits that the state policy on drivers licenses is wrong but it appears no action will be taken this session.

New York is also a sanctuary state and there are no politicians here speaking out against this insanity! Spitzer's insane idea has upped the awareness factor though and that allows for some hope.

I think Spitzers remark about Lou Dobbs woke alot of people up, as has NY drivers license issue, some times these kind of things are a blessing in disguise :P This is "what we want, to wake up America"
